Get Ready to Find Your Voice

Choosing the right college is about finding your voice, understanding your value, and creating a vision for your future. Our students are leaders, creative thinkers, and doers who are looking for more from their college experience. How will you find your voice at Converse?
The best way to discover Converse is to schedule your visit!

Based on the constantly changing dynamics of COVID-19, the Office of Admissions strongly encourages you to call our office at 864-596-9040 or email admissions@converse.edu BEFORE making travel arrangements to visit our campus. We would love to speak with you about the options we are currently offering for exploring Converse and seeing our campus!

Schedule a Visit

We invite you to visit campus or attend a virtual information session to learn about the admissions process and financial aid, tour campus (in person or online) and talk with an admissions counselor.

We encourage you to register for one-on-one time with your admissions counselor by reserving a time that works best for you and your family. Admissions counselors can help you with your admissions application, review your financial aid information, and answer any questions you or your family may have. Click here to find your Admissions Counselor and schedule an appointment with them through youcanbook.me.

You can also explore Converse from home by watching our campus visit video or taking a virtual tour.

Official Transcript Waiver

We know that in this challenging time, it may be difficult for you to get an official transcript. We will accept unofficial transcripts from you at this time to complete your application instead of waiting for the school to issue an official transcript.

SAT/ACT Results

As a test-optional school your ACT or SAT test scores are not required as part of the admissions application process. If you feel your scores are a good reflection of your ability you are more than welcome to submit them as part of your file. However, it is not currently an admissions requirement.

TOEFL Test Scores

Converse will accept Duolingo English test. Ask your Admissions Counselor for more details.

Deposit Waiver

You are part of the Converse family. And, like a family, during hard times we do everything we can to help each other. Now more than ever, you and your family may have some questions about finances. It is because of this we are waiving all undergraduate deposits from this point forward if you have filed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and included Converse College (003431).
